About
Hi, I'm Quintin, founder of Northfield Learning. I hold an MSc in Chemistry and have experience working in both academic and industrial research laboratory environments. After working as a research chemist in industrial laboratories, I created Northfield Learning to bring real-world scientific experience into tutoring. My goal is to help students understand not only what to learn, but why concepts work.
I specialize in helping Ontario high school students succeed in Grade 11 Chemistry (SCH3U), Grade 12 Chemistry (SCH4U), and senior mathematics courses including Functions, Advanced Functions, and Calculus & Vectors. I also support first-year university chemistry courses, including general chemistry.
Based in Waterloo, Ontario, I provide online tutoring for students throughout Ontario, with in-person sessions available locally.
